Project Overview:  Glass Media, Inc. set out to simplify the streaming experience with a mobile app that brings all your subscriptions into one place. Instead of jumping between platforms, users can browse, track, and discover content from a single hub. Designed for mobile-first users aged 35–55, the app focuses on ease, personalization, and staying up to date. The goal: make streaming simple, organized, and frustration-free.

UX Research

Overview(User Research)

To better understand user frustrations with today’s streaming landscape, we conducted demographic analysis, competitor audits, and behavioral research. We focused on users aged 28–45 who primarily stream from their phones and juggle multiple subscriptions. Key insights revealed pain points around content discovery, app switching, and staying updated on new releases. These findings shaped our design strategy and helped us prioritize features that streamline access and reduce decision fatigue.

  • Ages 35–55, with a strong preference for mobile streaming over desktop or TV platforms.
  • Primarily single, with more flexible schedules and higher streaming engagement.
  • Use multiple services, often frustrated by having to switch between apps to find specific content.
  • Value convenience and personalization, especially when discovering new shows or staying up to date on releases.

Design Solution

  • Unified streaming dashboard that connects all user subscriptions in one place for easy access.
  • Smart content discovery powered by personalized recommendations and trending updates.
  • Integrated search tool that lets users find where to watch any title across platforms.
  • Clean, mobile-first interface designed for intuitive navigation and reduced decision fatigue.

User Flows

These user flows show how people move through the app to get things done—like finding a new show, linking a new streaming service, or saving something to watch later. Each flow focuses on making the experience simple and straightforward, so users can spend less time searching and more time streaming. Our goal was to keep everything intuitive and frustration-free.

Final Design

The final design makes it easier than ever to keep up with all your streaming content in one spot. The app’s simple layout and clean visuals help users jump between services, find new shows, and keep track of what they want to watch—without any of the usual hassle. Bold cover art, smooth scrolling, and personalized touches make the experience feel fresh and fun. It’s built for everyday use, and it just works.
